There was a fantastic response to our beta launch of “A Guide to Scientific Writing” - thank you all for participating. There is now a fee-paying course “Relevant Writing for Science Students” available which provides you with an opportunity to write for different audiences, and to submit work for professional feedback.
What’s in this new scientific writing course?
In addition to the pilot course material, you’ll be given in-depth training in:
- how to write for different audiences including medical news, science magazines, and blog posts
- how to use academic publishing standards in your work (learn how to apply AMA style)
- how to use the PubMed database
This course will be suitable for senior undergraduates and postgraduates who already have excellent writing skills and wish to develop the skill further.

You will have unlimited access to the material and can complete the course in your own time, and at your pace.
